Bye bye wobbly Christchurch!

We left Christchurch behind this morning following a fairly big earth tremor last night, which I thought was really cool and Bev thought was bloody terrifying - Lol!

We hadn't looked properly at how far away Picton was and it was a but of a shock when the sat nav said "continue 300 kilometres"! But we got there in time for the ferry, stopping along the way to take some lovely photos of mountains and rivers and the odd bridge :-)

Now on the ferry having come through Marlborough Sound where I managed to use up a brand new set of camera batteries taking pics of the awesome scenery. Took a few with the phone which are attached - including a fetching shot of me in my new hat! It's bloody freezing!

I hope to come back some day and see a bit more of the South Island - but hopefully with less wobbling!
